Compensation Range: The anticipated salary for this position is between $200K-$250K. CSU Salary Schedule
*CSUMB provides pay scales representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, and CSU systemwide pay for comparable jobs.

Position Overview
The Vice President for University Advancement (VP) plays a pivotal role in shaping the vision and direction of the University Advancement department. Reporting directly to the president, the VP is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that align with the university's mission and goals. This position is crucial in fostering relationships with alumni, donors, and community partners to enhance the university's philanthropic efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Collaborate with the president to enhance fundraising strategies and support senior leaders in development activities.
- Program Development: Evaluate and enhance the university's fundraising capabilities, creating a comprehensive strategy to boost philanthropic support.
- Campaign Oversight: Direct campaign planning and execution, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
- Community Engagement: Work with university leadership to craft compelling narratives that highlight the university's strengths and aspirations.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the University Advancement team, ensuring effective resource allocation and operational efficiency.

- Demonstrated success in cultivating and securing major gifts from individuals and institutions.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated compensation range for this role is $200K-$250K. The University of California offers a comprehensive benefits package to enhance the overall employment experience.
