The Director of Decision Support and Finance Analytics will be managing the creation, direction, and oversight of a technical and analytic team with the responsibilities of annual operating and capital budgets, decision support system development and maintenance, business intelligence reporting and analytics, and long range financial forecasts and plans.
The Hospital Director of Finance Analytics and Decision Support will work under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer CFO to foster metric-driven organizational planning; operate with autonomy in developing work plans, selecting appropriate analytic staff and assuring the use of best practice business analytics to define and evaluate decisions.
The Hospital Director of Finance Analytics and Decision Support will interact successfully with staff, departmental directors, senior management and the Finance Committee of the Board. The ideal candidate for Hospital Director of Finance Analytics and Decision Support should have StrataJazz experience with Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration, ten years of experience in business and financial analytics in Health care industry, and five years management experience.
The Director of Decision Support and Finance Analytics should have strong analytical skills with proven ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business opportunities. Experienced in market and financial analysis with strong technical experience is required, with an emphasis on data structures and database management as well as data representation. Demonstrated success managing complex projects and managing multiple projects including process improvement
The Decision Support and Finance Analytics Director will provide for sound financial management, effective chargemaster management and team building for management staff and analysts that provide technical consulting and support in the areas of OSHPD and CMS Cost Reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, productivity, reimbursement and business planning.
