Job Overview: Primary Care Health Provider is a rewarding career opportunity at Central Maine Healthcare. As a key member of our patient care team, you will deliver direct and indirect care utilizing your expertise. You will assess health status, develop and execute interventions collaboratively with the clinical team, and evaluate patient responses. Your duties may include interpreting x-rays, prioritizing patients by level of acuity, establishing effective patient relationships, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess health status and develop treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect care using expertise
  • Evaluate patient responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records

Qualifications: An unencumbered license to practice as a PA or NP in the state of Maine is required. A graduate of an accredited physician assistant program (PA) or Nurse Practitioner program (NP) is also required. Additionally, you must complete 100 hours of CME every two years and take the recertification exam every six years. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification is necessary, while ACLS certification is preferred. Experience in Occupational Health, emergency department, or urgent care setting is beneficial.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
