About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Services Coordinator to join our team at Dominion Payroll. As a key member of our payroll operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and maintaining the highest level of data security and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and process payroll information from clients, including preparing reports and resolving payroll-related issues.
  • Research and analyze payroll-related problems or questions, and provide solutions to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting any needed changes.
  • Protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential and secure.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing goals and related results to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
  • Meet and maintain established ticket metrics, and provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Establish and build healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Update client employee information, deductions, earnings, salary, direct deposits, and other relevant data as requested by clients.
  • Provide training and support for services such as ESS, PTO, and time keeping via Zendesk.
  • Participate in weekly Learning & Development trainings, iSolved release meetings, products solutions, and all applicable company trainings.
Requirements
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to effectively utilize available office management technology.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive and upbeat attitude, with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Preferred knowledge of applicable federal and state wage tax laws and compliance regulations surrounding payroll.
  • Preferred customer service experience.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced, highly complex, and deadline-oriented service environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary, and ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
