Infection Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at HC&N Healthcare Solutions. As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and prevention in our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, investigate, and monitor healthcare-associated infections, collaborating with teams to develop and implement effective infection prevention strategies.
- Conduct educational and training activities for healthcare workers, providing instruction and disseminating information on best practices.
- Assist in the orientation of newly hired nursing personnel and provide training on new equipment and products.
- Coordinate and maintain records of in-services and training that meet federal, state, and local requirements.
- Lead nursing department Performance Improvement activities and present data at quarterly meetings.
Candidates for this position should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, display leadership and creativity, and have experience with presentation and time management.
