Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Directors of Operations to establish training priorities for District Managers and accounts.
  • Train account, district, and division leadership teams on culinary hospitality and leadership in the healthcare environment.
  • Provide supplementary training for cooks at the facility level, focusing on cooking techniques, food safety, and quality control.
  • Meet with key culinary employees, account managers, and division leaders to coach and provide feedback on culinary performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs and in-services, including coordination with Corporate Training.
  • Identify opportunities for advancement and developmental experiences for successful managers.
  • Participate in the recruiting and orientation of culinary and operational leaders in the region.
  • Ensure compliance with HCSG's standards of operation, client contract, and Business Conduct Policy.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or certification in culinary arts or 10+ years of industry experience at an Executive Chef level or higher.
  • Prior experience in culinary education and on-site or healthcare dining service preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills, ability to train a diverse workforce, and knowledge of nutrition and dining service program requirements.
  • Excellent oral/verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently, with a proven track record of growing accounts and managing budgets.
