About the Role

LMI is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense's transfer of sustainment activities for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program from the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) to the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and the Department of the Navy (DoN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall program to provide Integrated Product Support Element (IPSE) integration, lifecycle management, monitoring, and continuous improvement to a fully transitioned F-35 fleet.
  • Establish and manage an adaptive Program Management Office (PMO) to manage and integrate projects and POAMs from multiple sources and oversee implementation efforts.
  • Develop a comprehensive strategic plan and implementation roadmap with a clear timeline, milestones, and checkpoints for each phase of the transition.
  • Update policies and procedures, support process improvements, report metrics, and provide project management support.
  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across OSD, the military services, DLA, US TRANSCOM, the Joint Program Office, and prime vendors to monitor progress, resolve issues, and identify risks.

Requirements:

  • Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of project/program management experience in the areas of logistics, supply chain management, human capital, change management, training, organizational development, and strategic communications.
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) and significant product support experience.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, project, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills to successfully deliver briefings and interact with executive client leadership.
  • Ability to create and foster a fast-paced, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment.
  • High-energy, enthusiasm, and ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels in government and industry.
  • Experience with customer relations and negotiating binding contract solutions.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Understanding of deploying sustainment analytics at scale.
  • Ability to create and foster a fast-paced, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment.
