Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist

Ochsner Health System is seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Dermatology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pharmacokinetic consultation and medication management services to patients with dermatological conditions.
- Evaluate patient response to drug therapy and document interventions and outcomes.
- Develop and implement pathways, best practices, and guidelines for dermatology patients.
- Educate staff, students, patients, and healthcare providers on medication management and dermatology-related topics.
- Mentor residents, students, and new staff to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality patient care.
- Current Pharmacy license in the state of practice.
- Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency (3 years related specialty experience accepted in lieu of PGY1 Residency).
- Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and/or Completion of a PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Residency.
