About the Role

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and medication management services. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacokinetic consultation and laboratory data analysis to optimize medication therapy
  • Evaluate patient response to drug therapy and document interventions
  • Develop and implement pathways, best practices, and guidelines for medication management
  • Educate staff, students, patients, and healthcare providers on medication-related topics
  • Mentor residents, students, and new staff to meet departmental goals
Requirements
  • Current Pharmacy license in the state of practice
  • Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency (or 3 years of related specialty experience)
  • Strong leadership and teaching skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
