Position: Registered Nurse MDS Supervisor

We are seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse MDS Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily patient care operations, overseeing, guiding, and nurturing nursing staff.

·

Facilitate the care plan in accordance with regulatory standards.

·


Ensure that resources are accessible to patients and that care is provided efficiently and to a high standard.

·

Develop the schedule for all Medicare and Medicaid services.

·


Initiate Medicare coverage for newly eligible patients or issue denial notifications while staying informed on changes in Medicare policies and assisting in determining necessary documentation for reimbursement.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Strong decision-making and judgment skills.

Ability to recognize and address complex issues.

·

Dedicated to making a positive impact and connecting with individuals.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
·

A bachelor's degree in nursing.

·

Expertise in MDS 3.0

·

Current, active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.

·

A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a long-term care environment.

·

Previous experience as an MDS supervisor.
