Sales and Leasing Role Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. The successful candidate will perform all activities related to leasing new residents, providing exceptional service throughout the lease term, and securing resident lease renewals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Leasing Activities: Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, process applications, and ensure a smooth resident move-in and lease signing experience.
  2. Inspect Apartments: Ensure apartments are in move-in ready condition, inspect prior to resident move-in, and schedule any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
  3. Market Analysis and Planning: Stay informed about market conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans, and implement strategies to sustain occupancy.
  4. Marketing and Outreach: Design and execute marketing activities to create traffic, including resident referral programs, internet marketing tools, and other community-specific initiatives.
  5. Software Management: Utilize on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident data, and capture demographic information.
  6. Show Unit Maintenance: Inspect and maintain show units to meet Company standards, ensuring a visually appealing display and effective leasing experience.
  7. Follow-up and Communication: Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, send thank-you notes, and make telephone calls or contacts to finalize lease decisions.
  8. Lease Renewal Support: Prepare lease renewal letters and packages, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely lease renewal document signing.
  9. Customer Service: Respond promptly to resident concerns, take action to solve problems, and document requests as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00. Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

Greystar offers a competitive compensation package, which may include an annual performance bonus for corporate positions or a discretionary weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus for onsite property positions. Additionally, benefits offered for part-time team members include 401(k) with Company Match, Employee Assistance Program, and Paid sick time.
