  • Appointment Scheduling and Management
    • Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling to optimize the daily schedule of our hearing professionals.
    • Communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding appointment details.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, both in person and over the phone.
    • Address patient inquiries, provide information, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Handle patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date and organized records to ensure efficient access to patient information.
  • Office Organization and Maintenance
    • Maintain the tidiness and organization of the front office area, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for patients.
    • Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Support to Hearing Professionals
    • Assist hearing professionals in administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
    • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
  • Billing and Insurance Processing
    • Manage the Explanation of Benefits process for third-party patients.
    • Submit appropriate information to insurance carriers and collect and record patient payments.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in office software and scheduling systems.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes is an advantage.
