Clinical Research Transition Program Assistant

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking highly qualified candidates for the Clinical Research Transition Program Assistant position. This program aims to develop the next generation of clinical investigators who will lead the way in advancing medical research.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in the Division of Intramural Research (DIR) at the NIH, collaborating with experienced researchers and clinicians to gain hands-on experience in clinical and translational research.
The program is designed to provide a comprehensive training experience, including mentorship, research opportunities, and professional development. Participants will work closely with senior investigators to design and conduct clinical studies, analyze data, and present research findings.
The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree (M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.) and be board eligible or certified in a subspecialty. They will also qualify for credentialing by the NIH Clinical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical and translational research under the guidance of senior investigators
- Design and implement clinical studies, including protocol development and data collection
- Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to analyze data and present research findings
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and conferences
