Position Summary

The Solar Sales Specialist is responsible for generating sales leads and conducting in-home presentations on our solar energy products and services. This role focuses on establishing meaningful connections with potential clients to assess their energy needs and promote solar as a viable solution for their households.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective self-generated sales strategies to secure appointments with prospective customers.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer sales experience from the initial contact through to installation and beyond.
  • Conduct comprehensive in-home sales presentations, evaluating customer knowledge and needs to build lasting relationships.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to installation, ensuring timely follow-ups with all leads and consultations.
  • Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to accurately track and report on sales outcomes.
  • Achieve minimum sales targets as established by sales leadership.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or lead generation, preferably with in-home sales experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate across departments to meet customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel within the local market as required by business needs.
  • Intermediate proficiency with technology, including the use of an iPad/computer and various software applications; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
