Transform Patient Experience with Clinical Operations Expertise

At The University of Chicago Medicine, we're seeking a skilled Patient Experience Improvement Specialist to join our Clinical Operations team. This dynamic role will play a pivotal part in enhancing our patient care standards, driving quality improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence within our healthcare system.

As a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management, process improvement, and change management, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to elevate our patient experience. Your expertise will help us navigate complex clinical and operational challenges, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Design and implement process improvements, leveraging tools like Lean and PDSA, to drive measurable results in quality, safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and goals, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration, guiding teams to realize their full potential, and empowering them to drive continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies, ensuring seamless adoption of new processes and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a health, hospitality, or business field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of project management and change management experience, with a strong background in process improvement and clinical operations.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in process improvement, project management, and change management, with excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.

Salary:

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
