Job Description

At Carolina Therapeutic Services Community Development, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring the quality of behavioral health programs and services, ensuring compliance with Medicaid and other auditing agencies' standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality improvement and quality assurance, with experience in evaluating data and metrics associated with access to services, timeliness to services, and consumer outcomes.

  • Monitor and identify risk management activities to ensure the highest level of quality care.
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of our quality systems to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze and communicate areas for quality data improvement to department managers and supervisors.
  • Responsible for reporting findings and assisting with the creation of a corrective plan of action.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous quality improvement efforts using analytical methodologies.
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data to inform decision-making.
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field of study.
  • 2+ years of related experience in a quality improvement role within the MH/DD/SA field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • Knowledge of and management of confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cultural responsive in communications with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Visually creative with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
