Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Health First Medical Group LLC. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Registration and Scheduling: Accurately register patients, obtain demographic and insurance information, and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Support: Assist healthcare professionals with various administrative tasks, such as preparing patient charts, updating medical records, and performing data entry.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Identify and resolve patient-related issues, and analyze data to improve patient care and administrative processes.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Certification: Healthcare-related certification (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Terminology, Coding) preferred.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or administrative role in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of healthcare terminology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Work Environment: Majority of time spent sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping.
- Computer Use: Long periods of computer time or at workstation.
- Lifting and Moving: Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
