About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are well-maintained, fully occupied, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will work closely with our tenants, vendors, and staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the leasing process, including marketing, showing units, and processing applications
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the properties, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure that all properties are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including fair housing laws
  • Manage the budget for each property, including rent collection, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Supervise and train on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in affordable housing property management
  • Knowledge of Yardi Systems or similar property management software
  • Strong understanding of fair housing laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in real estate development
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additionally, your leadership and supervisory skills will be critical in managing on-site staff and ensuring that our properties are fully staffed and operating efficiently.
