Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious marketer to join our expanding U.S. Medical Aesthetics division, which includes content-driven events, a magazine, and an online education platform. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager for Business Events will play a pivotal role in shaping marketing strategies and executing initiatives to support our portfolio of tradeshows, conferences, societies, and media, with a focus on achieving attendance, sales, and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Senior Marketing Manager to devise strategies for promoting brands and their content across various channels, including social media, digital platforms, and print media.
  • Creating and managing comprehensive marketing strategies for brands and events, overseeing all phases from planning to execution, including pre-event, during-event, and post-event marketing campaigns.
  • Producing engaging content for marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand value propositions and unique selling points, while utilizing data analytics to assess the effectiveness of your communications.
  • Working closely with creative and digital teams to evaluate communication strategies and make necessary adjustments based on performance metrics.
  • Leading the development and implementation of social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and attendee conversion.
  • Coordinating with the Content Team to establish content marketing calendars that align with exhibitor and attendee initiatives.
  • Ensuring social media serves as a revenue-generating channel integrated into the overall marketing strategy.
  • Creating high-traffic content suitable for distribution across multiple channels, including web, social media, email, and interactive events.
  • Engaging with target audiences to identify insights that will refine messaging and outreach efforts.
  • Facilitating influencer outreach and developing impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to enhance user experience prior to events.
  • Contributing to the creation of on-site features and programs that promote exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitoring marketing expenditures and providing monthly reports on metrics and campaign performance against key performance indicators.

Qualifications:
Essential:

  • 4-5+ years of demonstrated experience in B2B event marketing, including email marketing, website management, and social media.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences, along with proofreading and editing capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, showcasing brand voice across all marketing channels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills.
  • Hands-on approach to campaign creation from inception to completion.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and proficiency in various social media platforms.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and deliver engaging content.
  • Analytical skills to assess data and adapt strategies for greater impact.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with the medical aesthetics industry.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite products.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
