Healthcare Facility Administrator:

Licensure Requirements:
Must hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator's license. An Assisted Living license is not acceptable for this position.
Compensation:
$130,000 - $165,000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategically plan, develop, and oversee the implementation and evaluation of the facility's programs and activities.
2. Formulate and uphold written policies and procedures along with professional standards that guide the facility's operations.
3. Assign administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to staff members.
4. Collaborate with department heads regarding departmental operations, ensuring continuous information exchange.
5. Identify staffing requirements, conduct interviews, hire personnel, perform annual evaluations, provide counseling, and manage employee performance.6. Develop an annual operational budget, analyze monthly financial reports, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality care.
7. Engage in state and federal facility surveys, addressing any deficiencies and creating corrective action plans.8. Foster positive employee relations, boost morale, and promote teamwork.
9. Implement a robust public relations strategy that benefits both the facility and the surrounding community.
10. Review the facility's Quality Measures data and public information for accuracy.
11. Ensure confidentiality of all resident care information in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and guarantee that all staff are trained in this policy.
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a valid Nursing Home Administrator license.
2. A bachelor's degree in public health administration or a related field.
3. Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a skilled nursing environment.
4. Comprehensive understanding of OBRA regulations, the survey process, survey tag numbers, and quality measures.
5. Familiarity with reimbursement regulations, nursing practices, and the laws governing nursing facility administration.
