Job Title: Student Activities Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Student Activities Assistant at George School.

As a key member of our student life team, you will be responsible for implementing and promoting student engagement in a diverse range of weekend activities and events. This includes outdoor excursions, movie nights, cultural outings, and recreational sports activities and tournaments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation, venue reservations, and equipment to ensure all necessary resources are set up for successful events.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and residential faculty to communicate event details and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of event attendance, feedback, and expenses incurred.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation Management, Student Affairs, or related field. Previous experience in program coordination or youth leadership roles is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is also required.

The ideal candidate will be flexible in working hours, with regular Friday and Saturday evening and occasional Sunday responsibilities may be required to support special events or student needs.

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
