About the Job

The Street Engagement Coordinator will serve as a critical link between the Community Renewal Team (CRT) and individuals experiencing homelessness in the Greater Hartford area. This role requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and expertise in addressing the complex needs of homeless populations.

Estimated salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include conducting street-based outreach, assessing client needs, developing and implementing personalized service plans, and providing access to temporary shelter, food, clothing, and other essential resources. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
