Business Outreach Coordinator

About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Outreach Coordinator to join our team at the Women's Business Development Council (WBDC). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business outreach initiatives that support women entrepreneurs and small business owners in Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Outreach: Develop and implement business outreach initiatives that support women entrepreneurs and small business owners in Connecticut.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and business organizations, to advance WBDC's business outreach goals.
- Event Planning: Plan and execute events, including conferences, workshops, and roundtables, to engage stakeholders and promote WBDC's business outreach agenda.
- Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote WBDC's business outreach goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, marketing, or communications.
- 2-4 years of experience in business outreach, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and business organizations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
