About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the supervision of all kitchen staff, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily specials, ensuring consistency and quality of food preparation
  • Assist in planning and maintaining quality and production control systems
  • Supervise the cleaning and organizing of all storage areas
  • Assist in training programs for kitchen staff
  • Meet and exceed budgetary goals in regards to Cost of Goods and Labor expense
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external guests
  • Assist in the supervision of all kitchen staff
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience as a sous chef, chef, or kitchen manager
  • Ability to work all stations in the kitchen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
