Key Responsibilities:
You will be an integral part of a compact team tasked with:

1. Conducting bench tests, debugging, and characterizing embedded on-chip circuitry, including PLLs, DLLs, Clocks, Data Converters, DDR Memory, and various I/O Interfaces.

2. Developing benchtop electrical tests to evaluate on-chip circuitry through a combination of FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces.

3. Creating and executing scripts to automate testing processes, extract results, and generate reports utilizing database and analytical tools.

4. Producing reports for characterization and debugging to offer design feedback.

5. Performing in-system PI/SI measurements to correlate with simulation models.

6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Design, System Hardware, and Software.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

- Experience in AMS test development, encompassing specification review, validation plan drafting, test bench construction, and automated data collection.
- A solid understanding of analog and mixed signal circuitry in areas such as PLL, Data Converter, DDR Memory, and Temperature Sensors.
- Proficiency with laboratory instruments, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Pattern Generators.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, preferably Python, for test automation and data analysis.
- A strong commitment to quality results and attention to detail.
- Initiative and responsibility in driving project deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on laboratory experience, including soldering and system instrumentation, is advantageous.

Education & Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required, along with a minimum of 20 years of industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth and development within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $166,600 and $296,300, with your specific base pay influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees may be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
