We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at American Health Partners. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food service is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility procedures.
  • Develop and implement methods to determine quality and quantity of food served.
  • Inspect special diet trays to ensure accuracy, portion control, and appealing layout.
  • Evaluate kitchen and dietary area for upkeep, supply control, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Complete forms, reports, and evaluations to ensure control of food, equipment, and supplies.
  • Report disrepair of dietary equipment and assist in monitoring to ensure that dietary personnel wear protective clothing/devices when performing tasks that involve the handling of infectious waste or body fluids.
  • Complete cleaning assignments as scheduled and directed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one (1) year of dietary experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other medical facility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Dietary certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, pulling, and use of hands.
  • Frequent exposure to odors and biohazards, and exposure to safety risks associated with food preparation, cooking, and involvement in a health care facility.
  • Must be able to read and speak in English.
