HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician (Facilities)

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician to join our facilities team at Thrive Restaurant Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the Preventive Maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Assist management with Health Department compliance requests and reports
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to prioritize work requests and provide timely updates
- Respond to Class 1 emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine maintenance on building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Manage invoices and reports to the A/P department in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with technological changes and advancements in the maintenance field
- Assist the Director of Facilities with product implementations and facility upgrades
- Plan and schedule work according to company guidelines
- Utilize Corrigo to track repair requests, update assets, log time, and activity
- Follow company safety and security procedures at all times
- Maintain a driving record that reflects a commitment to safe driving practices
- Maintain proper storage and security of company equipment and tools
- Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company guidelines
- Maintain parts inventory to plan for long lead items and react to critical repairs in a timely manner
- Monitor and evaluate the work of third-party contractors and keep accurate records
- Assist with remodels, producing work scopes, taking measurements, coordinating, and supervising third-party contractors and ordering materials
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years' experience in a maintenance-related field
- CFC License
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, gas-operated equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration, and various cooking equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage conflicting time constraints
- Commitment to company values and IT skills to manage calendar, email, and work order management software
- Managing vendors and staying up-to-date with technological changes

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use a variety of tools, travel to various locations, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, communicate via telephone, reach with hands and arms, climb a ladder, work near moving mechanical parts, work in tight spaces, work above head or below feet, and be exposed to hot and cold conditions. The employee must occasionally move or lift up to 40 pounds.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, an employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The position requires working outside on a frequent basis in all weather conditions.
