Charter Communications is seeking an experienced Underground Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation of telecommunications infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation of telecommunications infrastructure, including horizontal drill rigs and plows
  • Collaborate with the manager of underground construction to maintain efficient production
  • Lead a team of workers to ensure the growth and protection of Charter's network
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve construction efficiency and safety
  • Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in drilling/locating, underground utility construction, and telecommunication installation construction
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of city, county, and state clearance codes
  • Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in horizontal drill rig operation
  • OSHA safety certifications
  • Operator qualifications
  • Class A CDL
