Overview:
As a Project Support Advisor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the Customer Integration initiative. Your primary focus will be to enhance the customer experience by ensuring that best practices are integrated into all project solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support across all phases of the Customer Integration project.
• Champion customer experience principles and ensure their implementation in project deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with project leadership to guarantee effective project execution, emphasizing customer satisfaction.
• Collect and prioritize project requirements from Customer Care Operations stakeholders, aligning them with project timelines, and collaborating with leadership to develop actionable business solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with other project teams to ensure alignment and visibility across all project tracks.
• Safeguard customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify strategies to reduce customer impact during the integration process.
Required Skills:
• Proven expertise in supporting customer-facing operations.
• Experience in business aspects of software development projects within the utility sector.
• Demonstrated ability to connect business needs with technical requirements.
• Familiarity with TIS change management and governance protocols.
• Strong innovative mindset, results-driven approach, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in issue analysis, business case evaluation, and cost-benefit assessment.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education:
• A relevant university degree coupled with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Equivalent combinations of education and demonstrated success will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project management experience.
• Background in Customer Care within the utility industry is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with technology professionals on utility sector projects.
Working Conditions:
• Willingness to travel as required.
Physical Requirements: (Include but are not limited to): Grasping, kneeling, light to moderate lifting (up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder height, repetitive motions, typing, sitting, standing, visual acuity (ability to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirements, and the capacity to sit at a computer for extended periods.
Mental Requirements: (Both field & office) include but are not limited to: Ability to comprehend, retain, and apply oral and/or written instructions or information, analyze complex problems and explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into clear terminology, prioritize tasks effectively, make decisions impacting the immediate work unit, and communicate effectively with individuals via telephone.
