Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Acquisition Analyst to join our team at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing acquisition analyses, developing acquisition strategies, and monitoring vendor performance using accepted analysis practices and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing/Developing Technical Advisory Reports (TARs) for Sole Source actions (except PSS contract vehicles).
  • Developing PRs in the contract writing system, Standard Procurement System (SPS), and routing to SEA022, SEA024 Divisions.
  • Developing COR spreadsheets for funding/admin modifications.
  • Assisting CORs/Contract Division with the development, review, and routing of DD1423 DCRLs. Tracking CDRL approvals/disapprovals.
  • Developing and maintaining Contract Status Reports (CSRs) for contract vehicles, assisting CORs with CLIN/SLIN data, modification details, and more.

About the Position:

This is a non-supervisory position that requires the ability to work with little or no direct supervision. Coordination of efforts with senior government and military leaders is essential. You must seek amplifying information and anticipate customer requirements based on individual work items maturing at different times and stages.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of five years' experience in acquisition analysis, preferably in the US Navy. Extensive experience with highly complex, high-dollar contracts is also required. Proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) is essential. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways is also preferred.
