Details of the Daycare Assistant Role:

  • Flexible hours available Monday through Friday, tailored to your schedule.
  • Start times as early as 7 am for opening shifts, or work until 6 pm for closing shifts based on your availability.
  • Substitute positions offer varying hours each week, with flexibility from 7 am to 6 pm.
  • Daycare opening shifts begin at 6:45 or 7 am, Monday to Friday.
  • Closing shifts extend until 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Requirements for the Daycare Assistant Position:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • NYS TA Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A genuine love for working with children.
  • High energy and a nurturing demeanor.
  • Experience with infants, toddlers, children with special needs, and preschool-aged children is advantageous.
  • Prior babysitting experience is beneficial but not essential.

  • Receptionist (afternoons until 6 pm)
  • Lead Teacher

  • Teacher Assistant (TA)
  • Daycare Opener (6:55 am - 9:30 am or 10:00 am)
  • Childcare Center Closer (Afternoons 2:30 pm or 3 pm until 6 pm)
  • Substitutes for all roles and age groups
