Core ResponsibilitiesThe Site Maintenance Technician - Fencing is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with fencing and performs routine maintenance duties to ensure the optimal operation of equipment and the facility.
Key Duties- Inspect, repair, and securely store fencing materials, equipment, and company property.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization within the maintenance and repair area.
- Report materials utilized throughout the day to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Inform the supervisor of any equipment concerns identified during the workday.
- Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of inventory prior to delivery and upon return.
- Perform general facility upkeep and minor repairs as necessary.
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading items such as fencing panels.
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as required.
- Comply with safety regulations at United Site Services, including the use of protective equipment and reporting safety hazards to supervisors.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
- Ability to understand safety protocols, operational instructions, and manuals.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers, clients, and team members.
- Basic arithmetic skills for performing calculations.
- Capable of problem-solving and making sound judgments.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with necessary endorsements based on state requirements.
- Manual dexterity and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift heavy items.
- Good vision and focus on tasks.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and moving machinery.

The salary range for this position at United Site Services reflects the base pay across all locations in the US, with individual compensation determined by various factors such as location, skills, experience, and education. Total compensation includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits package.
