The eSIM division is in search of a highly skilled and motivated technical leader to drive our next-generation products.

Your responsibilities will include leading a team to design and implement exciting features in our products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Role Description: The Wireless Technology and Ecosystems group is seeking an exceptional, hands-on Engineering Manager to become part of our eSIM engineering team.

In this role, you will guide a team in architecting, designing, and developing new features for Apple products. You will engage with various teams to ensure comprehensive delivery of projects. Your contributions will significantly impact future iOS products.

Strong written and interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration in our dynamic environment. You should possess extensive experience in developing embedded systems, with knowledge of baseband, SIM, eSIM, and secure elements being advantageous.

We collaborate with a diverse range of multi-functional team members from various exciting groups within the company, as well as external partners.

Key Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of two years in a managerial role.
- Comprehensive understanding of baseband architecture.

- Strong design and analytical skills.
- Experience in software development using C/C++ within a large codebase.
- Development experience with cellular features, SIM, eSIM, or secure elements.
- A strong sense of responsibility, with a willingness to take ownership and set direction.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with multi-functional teams to achieve goals.
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset, seeking innovative solutions to everyday challenges.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base salary is one component of our overall compensation package and is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth and development within your role.

The base salary range for this position is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your specific salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
