Job Description

Wallace Supply LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our wholesale branch operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Establish and communicate performance expectations, monitor performance, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Business Management and Financial Success: Develop and implement sales, profitability, and operational goals, manage inventory, and oversee financial operations.
  • Customer Sales and Service: Ensure prompt, professional service to customers, manage counter sales transactions, and develop relationships with customers.
  • General Results and Responsibilities: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, and represent the company at trade associations and events.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED required OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in management/operations in a wholesale environment.
  • College degree in a relevant field (e.g. business) preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to create and manage a high-functioning team.
  • Knowledge of wholesale distribution branch operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, customer service, showroom merchandising, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ability to provide consistent, quality customer service.
  • Knowledge of financial operations (i.e., profit and loss, costs of operations, return on investment, budgets).

Work Environment:

The Branch Manager will work in a combination of office and warehouse environments, with a focus on driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Travel: Travel is expected for this position as needed per business requirements.
