**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at JF Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, sous chefs, and other support personnel
• Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality
• Coordinate food purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the executive chef and other department heads to achieve business objectives
• Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge
• Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
**Requirements:**
• 3+ years of experience as an executive sous chef or sous chef in a high-volume kitchen
• Proven track record of success in menu development, food cost control, and labor management
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and train staff
• Certification in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
