Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • IVP Fingerprint clearance card required

  • Valid Driver's License is essential
  • Must pass a 3-year Motor Vehicle Record check.

  • Reliable transportation is required

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to shoulder height
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk, and reach overhead
  • Ability to hear and comprehend speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors, and on the phone
  • Must be able to speak clearly so that others can understand in various settings
Work Environment: The role involves working under the following conditions:
  • Exposure to climate-controlled classroom settings and outside weather, with temperatures ranging from mild to extreme.

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with teachers to co-teach lessons, lead small groups, and provide individual instruction and feedback.
  • Organize classroom materials, monitor student engagement, and minimize distractions.
  • Supervise students both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
  • Provide basic caregiving support and encouragement in all areas of development.
  • Assist teachers and students with extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Collect data for monitoring student progress.
  • Engage in professional development training regularly.
  • Ensure the maintenance of educational materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Participate in daily meetings with classroom teachers.
  • Engage in behavior training and student support meetings.
  • Assist with student hygiene and toileting needs.
  • Support students during lunch and assist with transportation needs.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by teachers or school administration.
  • Maintain classroom safety standards at all times.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday
