Family Support Specialist Part-Time

RISE INC FAMILY is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Specialist Part-Time to join our team. As a Family Support Specialist Part-Time, you will provide in-home case management and supportive services to families based on their identified needs, concerns, and stressors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide short-term, time-limited coordination of services and resources to assigned families.
- Meet with families to address and resolve issues or concerns using evidence-based curriculum and community resources.
- Accept responsibility for cases assigned and take initiative on helping families with community resources.
- Ensure contract timelines are met, including weekly progress notes and assigned tasks.
- Be flexible to meet the needs of families served, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Level degree with related work experience working with family dynamics.
- Education and/or experience related to the service provided, including the ability to relate to families of varied lifestyles, backgrounds, and ethnicities.
- Verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job task required.
- Ability to write and review assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and interpret policies and state Family Preservation regulations.
- Language ability (other than English) may be required to meet specific needs of people receiving support.
