Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a customer-centric strategy to ensure world-class customer service.
- Review and resolve customer escalations in a timely and cost-effective manner, while continually developing team capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and internal sales management, demonstrating a deep understanding of our customers' businesses and goals.
- Ensure all team members are trained in best practices related to customer service, order management, and software to deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Manage the order process for assigned customers, including receipt, entry, order confirmation, and shipment verification, as well as troubleshooting order/delivery issues.
- Collaborate with transportation and warehousing teams to proactively address customer shortages, delivery issues, and OS&D resolution.
- Work with planning and distribution to resolve inventory and transportation issues, ensuring a suitable resolution and communication with customers.
- Plan for seasonality volume swings, forecasting volume and resource needs, cost of resources, and acquiring resources as needed.
- Manage budget and P&L responsibilities.
- Design and implement improved processes or operational policies.
- Participate in and/or lead project teams as needed, aligning with the company mission and strategic plan.
- Communicate key department activities to the Director/DVP on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain positive cross-functional relationships with sales, marketing, logistics, IT, and finance teams.
- College degree preferred, or equivalent coursework and combined work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of successful customer service department management experience, with 5 or more staff members.
- Experience in the food and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful summaries and action plans.
- Ability to successfully manage a broad scope of projects while remaining detail-oriented as needed.
- Knowledge of manufacturing supply chain and inventory management principles.
- Knowledge of coaching principles to ensure reception and action by team members.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or ERP systems.
Aspire Bakeries offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $85,000 - $100,000, depending on location, shift, education, skill, and experience.
