About the Role

Copperstate Farms LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our retail operations and drive customer satisfaction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dispensary, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Manage and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee daily dispensary operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Arizona Department of Health Services regulations.
  • Customer Experience
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience, including product selection, retail flow, and ambiance.
    • Train staff on policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the Director of Retail Operations, including data analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
    • Manage all administrative duties related to the POS system, including inputting purchase orders, running product reports, and implementing discount policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum 5+ years of retail and business operations experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    • Technologically advanced individual with working knowledge of cannabis POS systems.
  • Certifications and Requirements
    • New Hire Orientation & Security Training.
    • Additional annual or ongoing training as assigned by management.
    • Maintain active Arizona Facility Agent Card.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands.
  • Frequently requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
  • Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching.
  • Must work indoors and outdoors year-round.
  • Must work in noisy and crowded environments.
