Patient Service Representative

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Manage patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Assist with the management of physician schedules and find opportunities for improvement.
- Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
- Monitor and assess workflow to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience working in a medical office setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software applications.
