About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing essential support to the Kansas State University swine unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for animal care, health, and well-being, as well as supporting research efforts. The role involves assisting with research projects, monitoring animal health, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the swine unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with research projects, including data collection and entry
Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of animals in the swine unit
Clean and disinfect the swine unit, including pens and equipment
Assist with daily feeding and watering of animals
Support graduate student-led research efforts

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with animals, feeding, and care
Experience with data entry and cleaning of pens and equipment
Valid driver's license
