As a Veterinarian - Animal Welfare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to animals in need. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies to improve animal welfare and promote a culture of kindness and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to animals in need, including physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment recommendations.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve animal welfare and promote a culture of kindness and respect.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement programs to support animal welfare and promote a culture of kindness and respect.
  • Provide education and training to staff and community members on animal welfare and care.
  • Participate in veterinary/medical training of staff and community members.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent).
  • Current veterinary license (or equivalent).
  • Fear Free Veterinary certification (or equivalent).
Work Experience:
  • Experience in animal welfare and care.
  • Experience in veterinary medicine.
Language:
  • English (Required).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) Strongly Preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary range for this role is set forth below and may be modified in the future.

The target hiring range for this role is $148,000 - $156,000
