Position Overview:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving a variety of mixed drinks, as well as pouring bottled or draft beer and wine to guests at the bar, adhering to established recipes. This role is essential in ensuring a five-star experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a wide array of drink recipes, mixing beverages accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare cocktails and other drinks with precision.
  • Serve beverages and food to bar patrons.
  • Monitor guest needs to ensure complete satisfaction, providing friendly and timely service.
  • Implement alcohol awareness protocols to prevent guest intoxication and manage intoxicated patrons appropriately.
  • Engage in and successfully complete alcohol awareness and safety training.
  • Prepare and stock garnishes for drinks.
  • Maintain sufficient supplies of ice, glassware, and other bar essentials.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory management of liquor, mixers, and bar supplies.
  • Process payments and operate the P.O.S. system efficiently.
  • Secure and balance all cash at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance in the company-approved uniform at all times.
  • Effectively operate the P.O.S. system, handle cash transactions, and process credit card payments.
  • Physical requirements include medium work, involving lifting approximately 30 lbs multiple times during a shift.
  • Engage in walking and standing for a duration of 6-8 hours.
  • Verify the age of guests appearing under 30 for alcohol purchases.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding alcoholic beverages.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear approved slip-resistant shoes during work hours.
Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of bar training and validation process is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is necessary.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be capable of walking and standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, and balancing heavy trays, dinnerware, and drinks.
