Role Overview
The Mid-Market Marketing Team within the U.S. Marketing division for QuickBooks is on the lookout for a dynamic product marketing expert eager to drive change through one of Intuit's key initiatives: Disrupt the Small Business Mid-Market. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated strategic thinker with a proven track record of transforming market, product, and customer insights into impactful marketing strategies while collaborating across departments to actualize ambitious concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee both inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives, utilizing storytelling, customer insights, data, and business acumen to lead projects through all stages of the product life cycle, executing a go-to-market strategy that drives significant impact.
  • Act as an advocate for the Mid Market voice, possessing a deep understanding of our most valuable customers who may feel they are outgrowing QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate closely with Mid Market sales teams to establish a rapid-cycle learning agenda, fostering a profound empathy and understanding of the attitudes, needs, and challenges faced by our key customers.
  • Utilize consumer insights (both qualitative and quantitative), competitive analysis, and industry trends alongside emerging technological capabilities to identify opportunities that further distinguish our product offerings.
  • Partner with Finance and other marketing professionals to create a one-year revenue forecast and the corresponding marketing strategy to achieve aligned results.
  • Exhibit strong creative abilities to convert deep customer insights into compelling positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonates with the target audience.
  • Possess analytical skills to formulate clear hypotheses and work collaboratively with other product marketing teams, channel marketing, sales, finance, analytics, and product to refine our solution-selling approach, providing customer insights, positioning, and content to stimulate demand.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and analyze program outcomes to report on return on investment.
  • Share revenue targets with Mid Market sales partners to devise customer targeting and omni-channel demand strategies that support sales efforts.
  • Provide actionable recommendations and disseminate learnings across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; experience in SaaS companies, B2B marketing, and/or an MBA is advantageous.
  • 7 to 10 years of professional experience in marketing, particularly in developing go-to-market strategies that support sales organizations.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and business strategies into effective execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • A deep curiosity about customer motivations and behaviors.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record of ownership, responsibility, initiative, and a commitment to driving measurable performance outcomes.
  • Experience in making principled, data-driven business decisions balanced with sound judgment.
  • Strong project management, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Capability to navigate complex or ambiguous issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations.
