Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory Care Services department is responsible for administering respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients under a physician's order. This includes oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECGs, and mechanical ventilation. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, communicating with the physician and healthcare team. They must understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, vision, and values in patient care management.
Requirements:
1. Clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy and Emergency/Trauma preferred. 2. Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required. 3. Licensure and certification requirements include Registered Respiratory Therapist, NC Respiratory Care Practitioner, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. 4. Hours of work: 7pm-7am. 5. Weekend and call requirements as needed.
