Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation. You will work closely with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy with communication to the physician and healthcare team.
- Understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, vision, and values in the management of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
- NC Respiratory Care Practitioner certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 30 days of hire.
7pm-7am, with as-needed weekend requirements and call responsibilities.
