Job Summary

The Government Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of government contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing contract negotiations. This role requires a strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and experience with government contracting processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from proposal preparation and submission to contract closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal regulations, including TINA, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and agency supplements.
  • Review and negotiate terms and conditions, Nondisclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, License Agreements, etc. of contracts.
  • Prepare and submit required reports, certifications, and other documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including finance, legal, and project management, to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Address and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for contract management.
  • Stay current on changes to federal contracting laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on government contracting requirements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in government contract and contract administration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.
  • Experience with a variety of contract types such as IDIQs, T&M, Cost Plus, Fixed Price, OTAs, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government security clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person, on the telephone or virtually.
  • Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator or assemble/manufacture intricate items.
  • Seeing to read a variety of materials.
  • Sitting or standing for extended period of time
  • May need physical agility to lift 20 pounds to shoulder height.
  • Physical agility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
Pay/Salary Information

Salary range for this position is $123,510.00- $160,000.00 annually
