Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Wheaton, United States. As a Communication Skills Specialist, you will assess and treat individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, and communication disorders using standardized assessments and clinical judgment.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and cognitive-communication.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on effective communication strategies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current SLP license in the United States, with certification by ASHA as CCC-SLP preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult patients, including those with complex medical conditions and disabilities.
