Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at SB Clinical Practice Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of our front information desk, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets all scheduled patients upon arrival and assesses their needs
  • Utilizes electronic medical records and practice management systems to navigate appointments and track patient information
  • Coordinates patient transportation and ensures timely arrival and departure
  • Follows up with newly scheduled patients to assess their experience and provides feedback to improve services
  • Performs receptionist duties, including answering and screening phone calls, taking messages, and ensuring proper delivery
  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying providers of patients' arrival, delays, or backlogs, and communicates with staff and patients as necessary
  • Maintains a clean and organized reception area, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Provides additional coverage for evening hours and weekends, as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working as a receptionist, medical office administration, or customer service
Working Conditions

The Patient Care Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The position involves frequent interaction with patients, staff, and medical providers, and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
