Job Title: Senior Application Analyst, Administrative Technologies

Harvard Business School (HBS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Analyst to join our Administrative Technologies team. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of HBS's student information system, financial aid, and other administrative technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, escalate, and resolve software incidents for vendor-based and custom-developed applications
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and execute on Service Plans and Roadmaps
  • Execute enhancement and defect processes under guidance from Lead Application Analyst or manager
  • Proactively identify risks and escalate as needed, especially when they impact Patterns of Business Activity
  • Initiate projects and act as PM on smaller projects
  • Ensure application documentation, including context diagrams, are up to date during and after projects
  • Configure applications to match business needs
  • Assist in conducting security audits
  • Oversee Major Incident technical resolution with vendors and internal teams
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience
  • Working Conditions: Additional support outside of regularly scheduled hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holiday breaks, will occasionally be required
  • Must be available by personal cell phone during business hours, and occasionally off-hours (cell phone stipend will be provided)
